Heritage Walk and Camera Talk (21-Dec-2019)

On a blistering cold Saturday morning about 30 photo enthusiasts gathered at Patan Durbar Square for a photowalk organized by Photowalk Nepal in association with Nikon Nepal. It was a special photowalk deemed “Heritage Walk & Camera Talk”.
Patan is a bustling city that gets up pretty early and while it was only 7 AM, the streets were full of life. Krishna Mandir to Golden Temple to Nagbahal to Bagalamukhi was the route for the photowalk. After the walk that lasted about an hour or so, it was then turn for the “Camera Talk”. For this, the participants assembled at Entrance Cafe in Bakhundole where they were greeted by the representatives of Nikon Nepal.
The talk, that started after breakfast, was mostly done by Mr. Om Yadav who is also the founder of PhotoWalk Nepal. The talk focused on the new mirrorless camera lineup that Nikon has brought out in the market. From features to pros and cons, almost all aspects of these cameras were covered in the talk.
Enthusiastic participants questioned about availability of Nikon gears and special features of these cameras too. At the end of the event, participants had the opportunity to test out the new cameras ie. (Nikon Z7, Nikon Z6 and Nikon Z50). Over 30 participants had registered to be part of this special event. There was so much enthusiasm about this event that registration had to be closed only a few hours after being announced.
Here are a few selected photographs taken by the participants of photowalk, followed by a short video shot during event.
