Jal Binayak is a Hindu Temple of Lord Ganesh located in the Chobhar, where the Bagmati river exits the Kathmandu valley. It is one of the four original Ganesh of Kathmandu valley. Located nine kilometers southwest from Kathmandu’s hustle and bustle, the Jal Vinayak temple is a popular destination for performing various ceremonies at auspicious times such as birthdays and marriages.
