Shankhamul is a historic settlement on the banks of Bagmati river bordering Kathmandu and Lalitpur. There are numerous Hindu and Buddhist shrines along the south bank of the river where locals perform religious rites including cremation.
This weekend our photowalk was at Shankhamul. Here are a few selected photographs taken by the participants of photowalk, followed by a short video shot during event.
