Bouddhanath Stupa, a popular tourist destination, is the largest stupa in Nepal and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built around 14th century after the Mughal invasion. After the arrival of thousands of Tibetans following the 1959 Chinese invasion, it has become one of the most important centers of Tibetan Buddhism. Today it remains an important place of pilgrimage and meditation for the Tibetan Buddhists and local Nepalis.

This weekend our photowalk was at Bouddha. Here are a few selected photographs taken by the participants of photowalk, followed by a short video shot during event.
