PhotoWalk Nepal is organizing a travel and wildlife photography trip in association with Machan, from 11th to 14th March, 2021.
The destination for this year’s photography trip is Gochhada in Nawalparasi district. Its a traditional Tharu village beside Narayani river. Across the river is Chitwan National Park forest. The wildlife in this part of the national park forest is untouched by crowds of roisterous visitors, and the human settlements are still close to their traditional values.
We will be staying at the Machan Country Villa, one of the pioneers of wildlife safaris in Nepal.
Our photography trips are in March-April during summer and November-December during winter; every year. We chose March for our summer photographic trips because:
Its the spring season, the flowering plants are blooming, the temperature is rising and the colorful summer visitor birds start to arrive from the south at this time of year. Its the mating season of the peacocks and their courtship display is the highlight of the season.

Nepali nationals: NRs 25,000.00
Foreign nationals: US$ 350.00
