Ilam is a district in the Eastern part of Nepal, famous for its beautiful tea gardens, breathtaking landscapes and refreshing mountain air. In just an hour’s Northward drive (38 odd Kms) from Charali on the East West Highway, one can reach Kanyam, which offers mesmerizing landscape views and a pleasant weather throughout the year. Don’t be surprised if you have to put on your jacket on a hot summer afternoon of April all of a sudden. Another attraction of the place is a group of local eateries at nearby Harkatte that serve mouthwatering delicacies.
